i am putting together a dell 4400. it was shipped a long way and arrived with lose connectors. i carefully put it all together and it has been running for a month, but today on a reboot i noticed that teh processor speed is now 533, and it has been 733 since day one. the dell boot says 4400/533 at bios boot and later repeats two processors at 533. what can i check?

It shouldn't change all by itself, but one thing to check is your BIOS. Check the multiplier and/or processor voltage.

-If it ain't broke, break it and make it better.
