Hey guys,
I am trying to implement aloha delivery. {ts5.3.30e}
But when I check the box to "Use Aloha Delivery" in the store settings, it says
"Delivery Queue must be set before choosing a Delivery System"
On the third tab of the delivery settings, there is a field for "Delivery Queue" with a pull down menu with a single choice..."none(0)"

Where the heck do you enter a queue? why do i have queues in TS anyhow??
any ideas?
Thanks,
:-j.

its on one of the tabs in Store Settings // Delivery. There is a drop down at the top to select a queue.

The delivery queue is simply where your delivery orders will be stored and accessed by the delivery interface. It is essential to choose this whether in QS or TS

Thanks, but that is my problem. I know where it is, but there are no choices there. The only choice is "none(0)".
There is nowhere else to enter a delivery queue.
Even if i pull down ..maintenance..system...there is no choice for order queues, only order modes then rev centers.

Maintenance/System/Order Entry Queues.

Create one called Delivery though it really don't matter what you call it, I use Delivery for consistency though.

It is very basic as well, give it an ID number and a name, that's it. Then you will see that queue appear in the drop down box.

OK, just to clarify...
I am aware of the order queue setup.
My problem was that there was no order queue setup available. Specifically, there was absolutely nowhere to setup any order queues whatsoever anywhere.
This is table service. In quickservice, order queues are a standard and are easy to set up.

ANYWAY.... it occurred to me that it must have something to do with the licensing not activating the entire Delivery Options

And lo and behold, after uninstalling and re-installing several times, it finally "took".
Now I can edit order queues and start using delivery..

Hope that helps anyone who searches for this same problem in the future.

interesting and also strange. Actually sounds more like the security settings were messed up, i.e. logging in with a specific user which did not have access to that menu option. Glad it is working for you now though.

I would agree except that I always user the super-user.
