We are running into an issue where certain external parties that email people inside our company are sending files over the 10mb threshold set on Exchange. Currently if the attachment is oversized, my internal employee will see no trace of the email and the sender will receive an undeliverable stating the attachment is too large.

Is there any way that the email could be delivered, but have the attachment stripped? This way the internal employee will know that the person was trying to email them, but that it was blocked due to size, rather than them not knowing the email was sent at all?

We are on Exchange 2010 on Server 2008. Thanks in advance.
