Dear All,
Good Afternoon.

We have been working on our Inventory and found lots of Items are missing physically in the Bins but shows in the MAS200 system. May we know how can we delete these extra stock from the systems. Is there any Import job for the Adjustments so that we can delete all the extra Inventory from the system. We know only how to delete the Items from the system using Transcations entry > Adjustments.

We use Lot Numbers for our Inventory.

Please advice us if anyone has any experience or ideas.

Thanks in advance.

See the Physical Count Worksheet, Entry and Variance Register. You can enter physical count and update. You'll get a variance entry to the GL that you may want to reverse or add other adjustments.

Could you please elaborate in detail. e are new to the system.

Many Thanks for the reply.

OK...

1. In Inventory Management - Physical
Print "Physical Count Worksheet"
Choose the report option "Print Worksheet and Freeze
Items"

This creates a "frozen inventory" that can be updated

2. Choose "Physical Count Entry"
Enter the physical count for each item

3. Choose "Physical Count Variance Register"
Print the register and review
This will adjust your inventory to the count entered
and produce a GL entry to Inventory and the account
you specified in Setup for Inventory adjustments.

4. Update the register when you are satisfied with the
entries.

You can test this by copying your inventory and GL data to
another company using "SVDATA" (File - Run - "SVDATA") and
processing a few items.

Thank you very much for the very useful information. We never entered into this option at all. It's quite useful to us.

Only the problem is we have more than 6000 records to update our Inventory. We have already compared with the physical count and could find the missed 6000 records. May we know how we can import these using VI job. It is very time consuming to enter 6000 records manually. We will be getting this scenario in future too. Could you guide us if there is Import jobs available.

Thanks once again.

Also we would like add here , we are using Lot Numbers. The quantity of few Items are there but need to change for example if there is a Lot Number 001001 with quantity 42.5. Actually it is 45.5. Then we need to adjust this Lot Number from 45.5 to 42.5. May we know how we can perform this type of adjustments.

Also one more scenario is if we have to delete the Lot Numbers, may we know we can do it?

Thanks a Lot in advance.
