I have a report in CE 9 that contains a sub report.

There is a parameter in the main report that is ticked Green showing that it is used. Now I cant see it in the report or subreport. All I do is set it to NULL (via scheduling) and it is never used. If I go show SQL query there is a NULL in there but I cant see how the queery is made up.

I have some code that is scheduling the report with multiple parameters in Excel and then using CSP to schedule it from the file that excel produces.

I just cant get the scheduling to work I have tried passing alsorts of things to the csp and CE to replicate NULL from '' to nothing to '''' to "''" to null , NULL etc and it just dont work. The only way to get it to work is to schedule manually which I just really dont want to do.

Any suggestions on how to pass NULL as a parameter to the report via csp or alternatively get rif of the parameter, edit the swl query.

Thanks for saving me from the torture.
Mark.

If you're not using the parameter, remove it from the report.

If you don't know where it is, export the report to a report definition file and search it for the parameter. This will tell you where it's being used adn you can go nuke it...

It's probably in the Report->Selection Formula->Record or Group.

It may even be in a subreport.
