Removing a DS1 from the system; set all members to manbusy, deleted members of the group, removed instance of group, removed card associated with net sync, unable to remove card from sys config (reports that trunks are not deassigned). Any thoughts as to what I'm missing? Thanks!

Good question, but, no;I've deleted any other reference to TK and TG.

Do you have any alarms on the system with the card removed?

This might point you to something.

Consistancy... Is only a virtue when your not a total screwup.

you likely have not deleted the trunks, then the digital link from the DS1 card, then you can remove the card from sys config.

thanks for the refresh, volbackup. there was a rogue tg member (id'd w/loc plid), pulled it, was able to del tg instance, dig link and finally card assign. thanks again all.

I haven't seen this on a 3300 but if on a 2K you may have a phantom alarm on the opposite plane the next day. If so just force another activity transfer and all will be well from there on.
