My first install of a Shoregear. I got most of it done, but I'm left with 2 questions. I added a Trunk group and in the process it had a pop-up that I answered OK to. I believe it was something to do with adding this Trunk Group to ALL switches. I must have done it wrong, because, now when I go to delete it; it's always in use by some User Group or device.

We have aprox. 35-40 switches on our Shoreware Manager. How can I delete this Trunk Group, without deleting from every User Group?

Four digit dialing to and from the Option 81 is perfect. LD across the T1 is fine, how do I program the Shoregear to use the onboard 3 POTS lines for Local/911 calls?

Any help appreciated!

When you answered OK, the question was assign to all User Groups. You have to remove the trunk group from the User Groups before you can delete it.

Is this a single site system? If so do not allow any Trunk Group to call 911 except for the analog trunk group.

Thanks Gsmith, I learned a little lesson there. READ THE POP-UPS. It's all working now after I deleted my Trunk Group from all User Groups. 911 and local are working.

I've been working with all Nortel products since 1995-2008. This Shoretel is the bomb! I've got another one with 22 tels in a month. I'll bet it's done before lunch. Saving my afternoon for some golfing.
