How can I delete the icons from the tray on the right side of windows? I can close them, but when I reboot they are back in the tray. I have over ten icons on the tray, and only need 4 or 5 of them at the most.
These tray icons can be set in any number of ways by the program.
You can control most of them by doing the following;
Hit START, goto PROGRAMS, ACCESSORIES, SYSTEM TOOLS,
SYSTEM INFORMATION. Pull down the TOOLS menu. Select SYSTEM
CONFIGURATION. From there, you can get to config.sys, win.ini,
etc., and safely disable the ones you know you don't need.
David J. tips from reading other postings.
