Hello, all

we want to delete 2 ip stations ( had been registered, but now no more in use and disconneted) in our 50b System, because of getting free ports in the system; is there any easy (right) way or workarraund, to prevent, that the the sequence of stations and numbers is moving (the 2 stations are in the middle of the sequence) and had to be reorganized and programmed new ? If not, what is a good sequence of doing that ?

Thanks a lot for all hints.

yes you are correct it will move all the sequence numbers if you delete the phones .

just reuse them for other new phones you want . you can change the mac address and id type easy enough .

the only work around i can see is to swap the 2 in the middle macs etc with the 2 on the end of the station range . then correct all programming and hunt groups etc and flex keys . then delete the last 2 stations which will now no longer be in use.

Hello, martinhodge
thank you very much for answering again on both questions;
mfim once more is not so comfortable in these things (i wonder, if UCP will be better in some cases ?) ; i still work also with old aastra/ericsson businessphone systems at some location - it is so much easier to do such things here; so i take your suggestions and have to swap macs and reprogramm as an "easy" solution....
I agree also with your rating for the LG dect system, after some Experiences in last time; we have to update dect hardware on our main location soon (16 base stations and 50 handsets from Ericsson working fine until now) and i really been a little bit unsure, to take the LG solution ...(basestation have less channels, only two cordless models etc ) ..we will see..
thank you once more + regards, martin
