Deleting Sent E-Mails

If I send an e-mail, and decide that I want to retrieve it, or basically delete that particular e-mail from the recipient's InBox, is there a way to do it? I did not think it was possible in Lotus Notes, but I remember other systems having the capability.
We are currently in R5, but moving to R6 very soon.

You can't do this natively. There are third party products that can enable you to do this, e.g. Fetch (
