.You have Registered a new AOL account but u still have the old screen names on AOL and you would like to add new screen names? No big deal !

.Right click on the AOL icon on your desktop and click on properties->then click on "find target" button. This step is very important to determine what subversion you are using..for instance : is it America Online x.0/America Online x.0a/America Online x.0 b or America Online x.0c.

.Scroll up and open the backup folder.Copy the Main.idx File->come back to the America online folder and paste that file in the IDB folder->click on yes to overwrite the file that is already inside the IDB folder.Close all windows and open AOL.

.Search for a "compver.bin" file on your computer and delete it.

.If all goes well u will come to the screen which says Connecting to AOL->click on Next->It will do a Searching for a way for you to Connect->On the select your connection screen choose the option which applies to you;whether u sigon with modem or TCP/IP->click next->?click on yes to change for all access numbers. Now you r back on your signon screen.

.Now Voila! you have sucessfully deleted all the screen names on the signon screen (DON"T worry you have not deleted the screen names from you account, but just from your AOL software). Now you will have 3 options:existing member, new user and guest.Signon on as existing member and while checking for password->select I already have an aol account->enter your screen name and password->click next and you are signed on.

.Now the next time u signon to AOL instead of existing member, new user or guest ; you will see your screen names and guest!!

Easy yes?
