Hi,

I have a subform and I want to put delete buttons next to the records on it. So, when the user clicks a delete button next to a particular record on the subform, it is deleted. Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks a lot for any help,
TM

You will need to go to your subform's design view.
Change the form's Default View Property in the properties window to Continuous Form.
Now add a command button and follow the wizard to the Record Operations choice of Delete Record.
Once your button is added, go to the code and add this statement if you DON'T want a message to prompt the user each time they do a deletion

Hi,

Thanks, Lonnie for you answer but, you know, I'm not sure what you mean by "follow the wizard to the Record Operations choice of Delete Record." I'm not sure how to use the Record Operations that you mentioned.

Can you explain?

Thanks again,
TM

I have a sample. What is your email? ljprodev@yahoo.com
