Hi All,

I'm currently trying to clean a Windows ME laptop of viruses with McAfee VirusScan 4.5.1.

The problem I have is that 20-ish viruses have been found in "C:\_RESTORE\TEMP" directory, and I am unable to clean/delete them.

Can anyone suggest a way to remove the infected files?

Many thanks,

Andy

Not that familiar with ME, but if it works the same as system restore in XP you should be able to simply disable system restore to delete the restore files.

Thanks folks. Problem solved.
