Deleting*.* in C:\Documents and Settings\use\Local Settings\temp

Hello,
As a preclude to running defrag, I have been deleting everything in this hidden folder. I realize that there's a possibility that a user is storing files in the OLK directory, but other than that, are there any useful files in the temp directory that I stated in the subject of this thread?

Windows will not allow "In Use" files to be deleted. I have been running batch files for years that have been deleting Temp folder files and have yet to see any problems.

Programs such as Disk Cleanup have a Default setting that only deletes files one week old or more.
