Hi all, I'm trying to create a VBA Excel macro that automatically deletes any rows in Worksheet1 that are also on Worksheet2. Individual cells that match on both sheets don't matter, all that matters is if entire rows match between sheets. Can anyone help?

Hi,

Why do you have the same data on different sheets?

Skip,

Don't take a [red]FIFTH[/red] on the [red]THIRD[/red]
Or you might not come [red]FORTH[/red] on the [red]FIFTH[/red]
[red][highlight blue]FORTH[/highlight][/red][white][highlight red]WITH[/highlight][/white] [tongue]

Well actually, I need this for my work computer and I don't have access to install software, so I need it to be an Excel macro.

Basically, every day I receive certain reports, which are in Excel format. Each day's report contains old and new entries, but I'm only concerned with the new ones, so that's why I need to delete identical rows between sheets.

Thanks for the responses though. Anyone else?

A simple query would do that, returning DISTINCT rows. faq68-5829
