Deleting Hyper-V server

i am looking at deleting and old and unused hyper-v virtual server. i am noticing as i look for information on this topic that the "Remove Server" action will only delete the virtual server itself and not the data that goes with the server. What would be the best way to go about deleting the server as well as deleting the data associated with the old server?
