deleting frames

i have a large movie of 500 frames. I would like to delete frames 250 to 500. I have lots of layers so its quite messy.

Is there a way i can tell flash to delete frames 250 to 500 without actually hilighting each frame and hitting "delete frame"

just start on the top layer of frame 501..holding down the mouse drag all the way down to the bottom layer, then all the way to the left to frame 250..all layers from 501 to 250 should highlighted..then just hit backspace a couple times and our done..
