Hi All.

I have a VMPro Server 9.1, and it is getting full.
So when I went to an Avaya SOLN 307224, and going through it, it says in case 4 to manually delete the files.

OK.

So I ssh'd into the VMPro,

navigated to

Code:
/opt/Avaya/oneXportal/X.X.X.X/apache-tomcat/logs
and deleted some 2018 files, manually using

Code:
rm 1XSCSServicesRollingFile-2018-09-*.log

It comes back with

Code:
rm: remove regular file <and the name>

I answer 'y' and do an ls, and the file appears gone. However I went back in this morning and I am seeing the files I deleted there again.

I've tried changing the owner, changing permissions, and as the song goes, the cat came back.

Any ideas? Do I have to do a reboot?

Regards
