Hi,
When I send/recieve an email I either attach it to the contact, or create a history using the subject and message. Do I have to keep these emails or will they not show in my database anymore if I delete them out of the ACT email system?

Thanks for any help!

If you delete them from ACT!, how would you expect them to show?

ACT! stores a copy in the database. You don't need to keep them in the email client... if that's what you mean.

That's what I meant. I wanted to make sure that if i delete them from the email client they will still show in the ACT records.

When you attach an email, ACT! actually creates a seperate copy of the email in the attachments folder so that it's not dependant on it being in the email client
