Hi Everyone,
I'm working on a project to consolidate all the historical emails that have been stored in various PST files.
The user is on Outlook 2003 on hosted exchange and the mailbox is only 1GB. Therefore, mailbox items are routinely exported as PST files so that only the most recent emails are kept on the server.
I would like to combine all historical mailbox items in one comprehensive master PST file so that the user can access all his saved emails at any time. I have discovered, however, that a lot of the older archived and exported items overlap and by combining them, I’m going to have duplicates. Ultimately, I want to delete and clean up as much of the duplicate and extraneous material as possible.
Is there a function or method to locate and delete duplicates within Outlook? Alternatively, is there an effective third party program that can help me manage and delete duplicates?
Thanks
J. Jade
