Deleting DLL's

I'm trying to paste a older version of msorcl32.dll in the system32 folder but whether I paste over to replace, delete the current and paste or just rename the current and paste... the current dll comes back! The dll isn't listed in KnownDlls in the registry. If anyone can help it would be appreciated

This is a feature of Windows 2000.

It prevents apps from overwriting shared dlls willy nilly. Rename the dll in winnt\system32 and in winnt\system32\dllcache and then paste replacedment file in both locations.
