Hi,
We are using SMS 2.0.
Advertisements are still being sent as in 1.2, so to individual PC's.
For each Advertisement a new collection is created with one PC in it.
SMS performance is degrading because of the number of Collections. Deleting unneeded Collections is a time consuming action because it must be done one by one by using the Wizard.
My question is: Is there a way to delete a group of Collections? (Perhaps direct from the Database?)

Thanks for your help.
Onno Kruger,

How many pc's do you have? Why are you having to send the advertisements to each pc individually? You can create a collection for a specific group of machines with various criteria if needed. I would check out "myitforum.com". It contains articles about collections, advertisements, and about anything else regarding SMS.

We have about 1500 PC's. What you describe is common practise at our site if a group of PC's need software. However, most of the collections contain one PC because one particular user requests a package for his/her PC.
