Deleting buttons on phones.

I have searched the manual and figured out how to add or change buttons on our 2008's and 2616's but can not find out how to delete buttons. I have a couple of phones that I only need a couple of buttons programmed and I want to leave the others blank. How can I do this? I am working with Meridian 1 Option 21 Release 17.76.

To assign no function to a key on a telset, enter the key number and assign NUL to the key. When the set is printed there will be no function beside the key.

Thank you very much for the help. I went back to the manual and looked under LD 11 and there it was. I am working with Meridian 1 Option 21 Release 17.76.

I have not heard of the 2612. I searched Nortel.com with no luck. Hope this helps.
