Is is possible to delete an attachment yet still save the original email? I was able to forward it to myself and cut the attachment out before I hit send but this seems like a silly work-around.

Deleting Attachments

Not a problem. Here is the process.
Open the email - double click into the body of the message - select the attachment - press your <Delete> key- close the message by tapping the "X" in the upper right corner. You will be prompted to choose an action - Select "Save only".
