deleting ALL historical evidence

i am desperate in deleting all types of info stored on my pc for files which i have either downloaded of the net/viewed of the net and for files (such as pics and movies) which i have run off my pc. i have done everything that i could that reghakr has said previously and im not sure if that's enuf. please help me delete all history of files etc.
 
If you are really desperate to remove info on your pc then just format your hard drive!
 
you could try using System Mechanic (iolo.com), it seems to do a good job of removing these files (not as good a job as formatting, as adamjones81 suggested.

BTW, none of the software that I've examined or tested eliminate the resulting dbx file trackings of using Outlook Express for (alt) newsgroups to view pictures. Do a Find on dbx and you will see (unwanted) items. Right-click and Delete any or all since these do not effect your system.

These dbx files result for each newsgroup visited; not only those subscribed.
