Hi guys,

Is there any way to deleting all anchor boxes at once while keeping the text format? I have a report and i don´t know why in the name of **@! the guy wrote some text into Anchor boxes all over.

I have to copy all the text and paste it into Indesign (actually Place it, not paste it) and the anchored boxes just paste anywhere. Very annoying indeed. I would like to keep the text in the boxes but out of the Anchor.

Thanks for any info and Cheers,
Sebastian

Indeed. That is a truly awful use of Word. There may be a reason why it came out that way (an automated generation by another application perhaps?), but from the image I see no need for the use of textboxes at all.

However,

AFAIK, you can not do this. From what I can see, those are Shapes and Shapes ARE anchored. Why would you want to keep them in the boxes anyway?

Thanks for the info! The boxes did contain text. Don´t know why somebody would like to put text inside a shape.

I did manage to delete format or style and it is ok now. The problem is the text has some bold or italics which i need to maintain i will have to change it one by one by hand....

Cheers,
Sebastian
