On Pervasive.SQL 2000i SP4, is there a way to delete a local database silently/without user intervention? Any tool or utility out there that can do this?
Note: I just want the database name deleted - not the system files.
Alternatively, is there a way to stop Pervasive from using a UNC path for the database location? (Rather, get it to use a relative/drive mapping path)
We have a problem where a user goes from one location to another, each with their own seperate databases, but the database name is exactly the same in every location. So Pervasive tries to go off to a remote server as opposed to the local server - this making the program extremely slow to do anything.
At the moment, we have to manually go in and delete the database name to make it fast again.
