deleting a listener

Hi,

I have created around 4 listener which i dont use now how do i delete the listeners from the services I have removed them from listener.ora file. But when i go to Component services i can see that they are still there. I am using windows 2000 server with oracle 8i

have you stopped and restarted TNS Listener using lsnrctl ? Mike
