deleting a budget takes forever

I created a budget for each division and saved to Excel. I then import them with the new numbers back into one budget ID.

I want to delete all the divisional budgets that were set up originally but each one takes over 3 minutes to delete, and I have about 40 of them.

Any ideas how to make this faster?
