Deleting a 5550 IP Console. 1

To delete a 5550 IP console from our 3300 system. Do I need to do anything more than clear out the softkey programming then delete the console? Or is there something else I should look for so I don't screw things up later?

Reverse prerequisites like call rerouting will block you from deleting the softkeys, if there is an alternative pointed at the softkey.
Any "actual numbers" in system speed dials will need to be changed.
Check the call forwarding form to make sure no sets are programmed to forward to the softkeys.
Telephone directory may have entries that will need to be deleted or modified.

Also:
-Are any console keys used as answer points in trunk service or trunk attribute form? Remove them.
-Is there a system speed dial of "0" which goes to a key on the console or any other speed dials that point to the console? Remove them.
-Are there any enteries in the intercept form that point to keys on the console? Remove then
-If tenanting may need to remove console references.
-Do you have a voicemail where "dial 0" options exist that point to a key on the console? Remove them.

Basically the system will not allow you to remove the keys or the prime of the console until all references to it are removed from the system forms. There may also be references to the keys in applications like the Nupoint that will not prevent you from removing the console from the MCD but will no longer function after you have done so.

The beatings will continue until morale improves.
