Hello all,
I am new to scripting, I am trying to write a batch file to delete temp. files on a PC. It works in all directories but C:\Documents and Settings\&username%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files. I wrote a script to list the contents of the folder first and it does not even see them. Any ideas on how to get around this?

This is likely a permissions issue. To be able to delete the files you will need to be either logged in as an administrator or been given access to each folder.

If that is not an issue for you then post the code you are using to display the files.

If any instance of IE is running, there will not show on your hard disk any instance of the index and related files you want to delete.
