Deleteing Autodials on 2420

I have users that program the autodial and now want to erase them. Any one have an Idea on how to erase a number from the phone. I can erase it using asa. I don't want that headache.

You can delete it once you are on the speed dial screen. It gives you the option to Add, Edit, Delete and Done.

This I know I am talking about the buttons assigned as autodials. To program *0 button number #. How do I erase the number. I can overwrite it but not delete it.
