Hi All,

When attempting to clear space on our HP UX 10 box, I deleted /var/adm/sw (I know this was a big mistake, and no we don't have a backup). My question to you is, how can I go about creating a new fresh IPD? This is a test HP UX box that we use as a scan target and I need to be able to see some software installed. The software installed doesn't need to be accurate, and I don't care about being able to patch / add new software to this box.

Hopefully there is some way I can get this working again.

Thanks.

No other box to copy from? Or another spare box you can install HP-UX on and then copy from?

Annihilannic.
