deleted user profile / data loss

suspecting that the user profile has became corrupted it was deleted and set up again, now i am unable to locate the users address book or outlook express data to import it into the new profile *.wab search unsuccesfull system restore to a previous date also unsuccessfull, Am I looking in the wrong place, beginning to think the os may be corrupted any ideas would be very helpfull

johnyo - if you deleted the profile - then all its contents (including address boot and OE data) will have been deleted. You need a data recovery app to recover this deleted data (assuming its not in the recycle bin). There's a free one here:-

(the longer you use the machine, the less chance of recovery - as deleted files will eventually be overwritten).
