Deleted mails not removed from Inbox view 2

I'm using Notes 7 client. Server is Domino 7. I have deleted some mails in Inbox but they are not removed even after refreshing view. When I click on them, the popup says 'Document is deleted'. Can someone help solve this problem?

You probably need a Fixup on your database. Contact your Notes Admin.

Thank you guys (pmonett & koresnordic) for your valuable input. Although I tried both these suggestions, the thing that finally worked in my case was this: I was using 'Soft Deletion' and only when I disabled it and then deleted the rogue documents again, did they go away from the view. I am still to figure out why Soft Deletions caused this problem.

I must admit that I don't like the soft delete functionality. When I delete something I want it gone. If I've made a mistake, then I'll go with my hat in hand and sheepishly request access to yesterday's backup copy to recover the info.
In itself, that is already quite an incentive to be careful.

If there is no backup because I deleted today's data, then I'll just blame myself and get on with it.
