Strange strange problem here...I have a user that seperated from the company whose mailbox and account were deleted. I can find no trace of the users account anywhere, however, sometime before the account was deleted, the user had set up a forwarding rule that sent all emails received to an outside account. He is now receiving messages stating that his account is over its size limit, even though the account was deleted over 2 months ago. I have tested emailing the account and I do receive an undeliverable stating that the account does not exit. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Travis

Deleted mailboxes are only kept on the system for five days after deletion, so there is no trace of the mailbox to purge it. I even checked the mailbox recovery center to make sure it didnt show up.

I know in Exchange 5.5, the administrative client had a 'raw' mode where you had a much more in depth look at what was contained within exchange and it was easier to see if there were remnants of things lurking somewhere. Is there anything similar with ESM? Through AD somehow possibly?
