Can anyone tell me if there is a way to disable the purge option in 'Recover Deleted Items'? There are certain times when investigating certain 'misdemeanors' that we need to retain the contents of the dumpster.
If you require retention in you email system for legal matters, I would suggest an Archiving system. Regarding your question, I don't know about disabling the deleted itmes policy, but you can set it for x amount of days. The policy is either configured on each mailbox store or configured in a policy that is attached to your stores.
