Deleted folder office 2007

This is a dumb issue that we cannot resolve. We have one users that is getting 2 deleted copies of a single deleted message in his deleted folder. Any ideas as to why this would happen?

I've not seen it before, but have tried the usual steps such as recreating the mailbox, etc?
