I have server in or PD running server2k with sp4 installed. with a C: and D: partition with a raid5 with three disks. if I delete files from the D drive is will not free up disk space until after I reboot. it also took space from the C drive. If I reboot I will get some of the drive space back. I was not sending them to the recycle bin, it is set to delete the files no store any in the bin. it is a dell server . could there be a problem with the raid not deleting the files. I need to make some space the hard drive is filling up. I have at least 5gig of files I can delete.
