I someone please tell me how to un-delete files that I've deleted by accident. I have a Samba server running on Linux RedHat and I browsing the files using Windows 2000 and I accidently deleted some files. Is there anyway to recover the files? Is there a program that will un-delete the files?

thank you,
LoJACK

thanx for your helps guys..
I'll give it a try

Maybe try restoring those lost files from your backup.
You do have backups, right ?

I have backups but the thing is... here is the good part,
the files where deleted and then everything was backup into the tape... so by the time that i realized that the files were missing the current drive image was backup into the tape already. So i have a backup of the current drive without the deleted files.

Use an older backup. Or do you only ever backup to one tape?
