Deleted Exchange Mailboxes

I am running Backup Exec 8.6 with the remote agent for Exchange Server. I am running Exchange 2000. When I delete a mailbox from AD, the backup selections stay the same and it attempts to backup the deleted mailbox and fails. Is there a way that B.E. can deselect the deleted mailbox? This is becoming a real pain!

you can uncheck the deleted mailboxes manually in the mailbox backup selections for each of your job definitions:
right click job def>properties>selections (tab)>[expand MS exchange mailboxes
then just uncheck the deleted folks!

That's exactly what I've been doing. I'm looking to automate this somehow. Whenever I ADD a mailbox, Backup Exec knows to add it to the selections. It should be able to do the reverse when a mailbox is removed.
