I had a user in citrix that would search within his sent items and not receive anything after 6/7. We archived his Outlook mailbox and saved the archive.pst to his local settings folder and it fixed his searching issue. However, this morning when he logged in, the archive.pst was gone and he was missing emails. Any ideas as to what happened or how I can recover those emails??

There is a setting in Citrix/Terminal Server somewhere that when a user logs off, don't save the contents of the Local Settings folder. If that is the case, I'm not sure if the pst is recoverable unless there is a backup of his PC.

Let me clarify my last post - this can happen if user has a romaing profile and there is a group policy to delete cached copies of roaming profiles. If this doesn't apply to you, you may be OK.

Did you do a search of his hard drive for PST files and include hidden folders?
