Hello, the question is simple. There's any way to create a warning to force user to confirms every query with delete comand?

Example:
comand -> delete from xyz
warning -> "Sure to delete?"
user input ->yes
result -> query executed

No. You could maintain some kind of "before/after images" of the row by means of "delete triggers". Those triggers can only execute SQL, not start a conversation with client.

You are familiar with the "grant/revoke " syntax?
 
Apart from whether this would be possible, you mean you allow hard deletes on tables to users?

I think we would need to know what platform and whether a programming language is available to be used.

This sort of thing is easy if you are doing it within a language, but not so if you wnat DB2 to do it.

As a side issue, it's worth noting that IBM's mainframe QMF environment does exactly what pjsatif is asking as default.
