Delete voicemail message after sent to email - NuPoint

Hi Guys,

3300 (MCD 4.1 SP2)
MAS 2.2.24.0 / NuPoint 14.2.0.20

I know that with embedded voicemail you can tick a box to delete messages after sending them to email. Is it possible to do the same with NuPoint? I have looked through all the options in the Feature COS and can't find anything that seems to achieve it. I thought 056 Auto-discard messages might have done it but no luck.

You need to setup a rotational mailbox
This basically sends the message and then deletes it

Is there anything in the LCOS options? You might not be able to discard the messages immediately but could set the message retention limit low enough to dump it after a day. I know in hotels we have setup shadow mailboxes for rooms where we copy a message into the shadow mailbox for say 24 hours. This way if a guest deletes and message and can't get it back the hotel can retrieve the message for them for at least 24 hours. I know this isn't exactly what you are doing but the 24 hours is set in LCOS and maybe you could set the message limits in the mailbox to discard after say 2 hours. That should give time for the email to be sent.

Just a thought.
