Found this statement in a closed thread.
"... it was a locked universe on the servers - deleted them off the servers and when I next used the Java report panel it repopulated the server with the repository version of the universe and opened in the Java report panel with no problem."

Has anyone done this procedure where you delete the universe from the server (does this mean webi server cache?) and the universe is repopulated...does that mean re-cached?

And how does one do this?

thanks!

This thread was likely related to 6.x. I used to do it all the time. Universes would become "locked" we would delete the UNV and UNW files. Then they would be reimported from the repository when they were needed.

I have never needed to do this with R2 or R3.
