Delete record from subform using button on main form

Hi, is there a way to use a button on a main form to delete a record on a subform within it? I've tried several different ways but to no avail. I'm thinking there must be a way to just say delete current record or something then requery?

Try this, on the subform set up VB coding on after update on a field, that states if the user enter the word delete in that field the whole record will be deleted.
