Delete query problem

I'm try to delete records from a table based on record identifiers in another table. I've set up the query as shown in the help screens and when I go to view it shows the records I want to delete. When I run, it says 'Could not delete from specified tables.' The tables are not locked or ready only.

Any help?

Is there any additional information in the message screen? Are any of the tables linked from another database? Are you aggregating (totals query) in any of the queries? Could you post the query for review? Terry L. Broadbent
