delete orphaned files in content server 10

Deleting orphaned files through the gui is taking months. We are no noncompliant and risk being audited again. Is there anyway to delete the orphaned files via the database? Which tables are associated with the deletion of orphaned dataid?

Can you provide some more detail on "orphaned" is this the result of a DB Verification report ?

if it indeed is part of a verify report all you have to do is put all those dataids support has given you the crude method of bringing up through the gui and delete
Their intention is to delete through a proper API and they wont give you code.Most people would write client code lapi, cws, OI or WR whatever works for them

Livelink maintains relational integrity with Oscript code not through SQL so playing with Livelink in tables basically can land you in huge surprises down the line
(at which point you would think that learning the API was worth it than mucking up the tables)

All DMS's has a SQL assisted API interface,in Documentum it is called DQL,in Livelink it is called a Live Report/WEb Report
