delete or modify MSysIMEXSpecs table.

I hope im posting in the right forum. Ive searched the sight but cant find what im looking for. Ive got a database which is 773mb, Ive tried to import another file but get an error 'Not a valid bookmark'. So thought the problem ,ight be because of the size. Ive tried repair and compact but produce erros. Ive been told a good way to compact is to import all the objects into a clean new database. But i need to import the system table 'MSysIMEXSpecs'. When it imports however, it names the table'MSysIMEXSpecs1'. the table is locked and I cant rename or delete it, is there a way to delete the original table and rename the imported table?

In the import window click the Options >> button and tick the import/export parameters checkbox.
