if you mean to delete livelink groups en masse there are some things you have to exercise.I would say that remove the users to another base group so that if they are only in that group they don't land in the catch all bucket defaultgroup.Likewise if users are deleted releive them of workflow assignments, clean up personal workspaces and like so that you don't have items to which there are owners,Just good house keeping.Other than that a simple program to find all the groups that you want to delete with a delete group lapi call should do it.LAPI was suggested as it is very easy to do,however any tools such as Oscript, webservices or webreports can also do the job depending on what you have at your disposal.
Well, if I called the wrong number, why did you answer the phone?

thanks for your valuable answer
i also think LAPI could be a good solution, but i was searching for some out-of-box tools... livelink explorer can work it out, but it has some limitations, as it doesnt show all the sub-groups...
not in one go, you can create a simple LAPI / WebService app to delete them for you. You can do this via the Database, but this will bypass lots of callbacks and Livelink code that manages a group being deleted.
